What if I want to cancel a visit?

Take Care requires that at least 8-hours notice is given prior to the next scheduled caregiver’s shift for a cancellation of a specific visit or shift of services. This also includes a change of care hours. Call (941) 927-2292 and ask to speak with a nurse. If you reach our auto-attendant after hours or on weekends, just dial #1 when prompted and a nurse will return your call within 15 minutes.

If a client wishes to discontinue all services, one must notify a nurse to confirm that future scheduled care is to be immediately cancelled. Services must be cancelled 8 hours prior to the start of the scheduled care.

A Take Care nurse can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Though the office is closed on holidays and weekends, a nurse is immediately available to you at all times and returns calls within 15 minutes.
