Director of Business Operations

As Director of Business Operations for Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care, Matthew Borland coordinates and manages all systems and projects. As Take Care advances its technologies and processes, Matthew ensures the compatibility and capabilities across all platforms. In 2016, Matthew led in the research, implementation, and installation of an upgraded software system. In 2010, he also significantly transformed how Take Care communicates after business hours by installing a state of the art phone system, upgrading all Take Care offices with VOIP phones. This allows for the immediate connection of Take Care’s on call staff to the caller.

As a systems specialist, Matthew leads in training for employees to gain the necessary hands-on knowledge to be more effective in utilizing the available technologies. Furthermore, Matthew provides oversight and valuable information technology assistance and expertise. Take Care uses virtualized servers to keep proprietary information secure and readily available— in the event of an emergency. He stays ahead of the next best thing in order to keep Take Care on the cutting edge.

Prior to working at Take Care, Matthew worked for a global travel agency in Boston, Massachusetts in the accounts payable department. Matthew is a graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor of arts in history.
