National Home Care and Hospice Month

As part of Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care's Wellness Friday celebration, this month we recognize November as National Home Care & Hospice Month. Take Care thanks our caregivers and staff for their continued commitment and support in the private duty home health care and geriatric care management fields. At Take Care, we provide a service to others and in order to extend our caregiving services one must ultimately be a caring person. We place the welfare of others before ourselves. Our focus at Take Care is providing services to our clients and to our community with empathy, compassion, sensitivity, and understanding. It takes a special person. As Peter Drucker said, "No organization can do better than the people it has."

Barbara Renzi, RN, recently took on the additional role of Administrator for Take Care of Manatee Inc., in Bradenton, Florida. Barbara is now the Administrator & Privacy Officer for all of Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care (encompassing both Take Care of Sarasota Inc., including our satellite office in Venice, and for Take Care of Manatee Inc.)

Taking care to the next level

"Over the next five years or so, [Susanne] Wise foresees Take Care Advisor growing rapidly. If projections hold, [Take Care Advisor] will open additional offices between now and 2014. Take Care intends to expand, too. Wise is readying a training center in the company's Bee Ridge Road headquarters that will train staff and enhance skills.
