Take Care proudly supports the 2017 Firefly Gala as a Firelight sponsor. Firefly Gala benefits all programs of Forty Carrots Family Center, a non-profit organization reach nearly 2,000 families in Sarasota community each year. Forty Carrots strengthens families by providing research-based parenting education and high quality early childhood education.
In continuing with Take Care's approach to giving back to our local community, we partnered with Girls Inc. to support a family who was faced with hardships and needing some extra support to give their kids a joyful holiday: Take Care's Celebrate Sharing.
Four prominent local women executives will be on the panel for the 4th Annual Women in Business Program: Stephania Feltz Executive Director of Girls Inc., Sarasota County; Jo Ann Koontz Attorney and CPA, Yesner & Boss, P.L.; Amy Wick Mavis Executive Director, PACE Center for Girls, Inc. of Manatee County; and Courtney Wise, MSG, Executive Director, Take Care Advisor, LLC. This is an opportunity to hear the success stories and career management strategies from these dynamic women.
The Suncoast Communities Blood Bank will be in the Take Care of Sarasota parking lot waiting for your to donate your blood! Please join us in reaching our goal of 15 donors. There will be a sign up sheet in the Sarasota office to schedule an appointment for Friday's blood drive. You do not have to sign up in advance, but it will make the donating process go faster so you are not waiting in line. It takes approximately 30 minutes of your time to donate blood. According to SCBB, one donation helps save up to three lives.
My wife had recent surgery and needed care around the clock. The support I received from the office nurse on care placement was exceptional.
