Venice Healthcare Workers Encouraged to Apply at Take Care

Our community is tremendously lucky to have top-rated health care systems throughout Southwest Florida.

While we learned this week that ShorePoint Health Venice will be closing next month, we are thankful our community continues to have wonderful options available with Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s main hospital campus near downtown Sarasota, Sarasota Memorial Hospital – Venice, HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital (formerly Doctors Hospital of Sarasota), HCA Florida Englewood Hospital, additional hospitals and numerous rehabilitation facilities throughout the region.

At Take Care, we value the importance of in-patient facilities for medical emergencies, critical care and procedures, as our team stands ready to step in for extended recoveries, bridging temporary or ongoing personal care, medication management, companion or nursing needs for our clients. Take Care is often the provider of choice for many individuals evaluating their choices as part of a rehabilitation schedule, post-op protocol or plans to age in place at their own home.

With the closing of the hospital in downtown Venice, we realize many healthcare workers may be looking for a new role where they can continue contributing to the local medical community – or perhaps begin a pivot to a related career, but different role or new professional environment. If you find yourself in any of these positions personally, we hope you’ll explore making that new professional home Take Care!

What Our Clients Have to Say

Sue contacted and vetted more than 20 care providers for my very important client and quickly weeded out those that were not up to par with the high standards set by Take Care. My client was very appreciative of the referrals shared and was equally impressed with our close community contacts who were willing to help us help our clients. This is yet another example of why so many of us feel comfortable working with and sharing our clients with Sue Wise and her company, Take Care.
