Health Care Bill: Debate Continues in Sarasota

Susanne S. Wise, RN, MBA, Executive Administrator and Owner of Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care, joined in on the conversation of the recent health care bill debate. Matt Walsh and Mark Gordon of The Gulf Coast Business Review hosted the panel luncheon to discuss how the bill may affect the local community. It is the cover story for the May 7 - May 13, 2010. The panel consisted of Dr. John Steele co-founder and president of Intercoastal Medical Group; Doctor's Hospital Chief Executive Robert Meade; Pines of Sarasota nursing home President and CEO John Overton; Susanne S. Wise, RN, MBA, owner and founder of Sarasota-based Take Care; and Andy Wright, chief operating officer of Mercedes Medical, a medical supply company. The challenging conclusion of this panel's discussion is that the impact of the health care bill cannot be predicted at this time. It is important to continue the conversation.
