Twitter: Even at Age 104

Another sign that age does not dictate limitations on life and socialization. One 104-year-old woman has found Twitter, the social networking site, to be useful. Ivy Bean of Bradford, England, has maxed out the 5,000 friend limit on Facebook and uses Twitter regularly to update her 24,000 followers on her latest happenings, from having her hair done to watching “Deal or No Deal” on TV.

This ties in to a previous news piece from The New York Times that describes the trend of older adults and seniors turning to online social networking as a form of socialization and communication when mobility may or may not be an issue. Aging does not have to be an isolating experience.

What Our Clients Have to Say

Sue contacted and vetted more than 20 care providers for my very important client and quickly weeded out those that were not up to par with the high standards set by Take Care. My client was very appreciative of the referrals shared and was equally impressed with our close community contacts who were willing to help us help our clients. This is yet another example of why so many of us feel comfortable working with and sharing our clients with Sue Wise and her company, Take Care.
