Take Care Gives Back

Donations Surpass Years Past

The holiday season seemed to rush by as it so often does, but with great attention and care, the staff, caregivers, and clients of Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care and Take Care Advisor took time to focus on the well-being of others. Each December all four Take Care offices, in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice, collectively adopt three families through the Holiday Helper Program at Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center, Inc., in Sarasota. This is all part of the company's "Take Care Gives Back" program. Take Care collected a record number of donated wrapped Christmas gifts (clothing, toys, and other "wish list items"), totaling more than $1,000, for three mothers and their children, who all are survivors of domestic violence. The goal of the collections is to ensure that these families could enjoy a happy holiday season.

Food Bank Donations

Take Care Private Duty Home Health Care focuses on the well-being of our clients and our staff and caregivers. As we step into the month of November, we are reminded of ways we all can give back as a thanksgiving. The holidays can be a challenging time for families, friends, and seniors. All Take Care offices will be hosting a food drive in efforts to combat the overwhelming need for one of the basic necessities: food. Take Care asks friends, families, staff, and caregivers to donate what they are able. Every offer helps and counts toward our fight for hunger. Take Care is thankful this month, especially, for those in our community who work effortlessly to bring aid and assistance to those in need. We recognize All Faiths Food Bank of Sarasota County and the Food Bank of Manatee County.

What Our Clients Have to Say

Sue contacted and vetted more than 20 care providers for my very important client and quickly weeded out those that were not up to par with the high standards set by Take Care. My client was very appreciative of the referrals shared and was equally impressed with our close community contacts who were willing to help us help our clients. This is yet another example of why so many of us feel comfortable working with and sharing our clients with Sue Wise and her company, Take Care.
