Caregiver

For more than 10 years, Luz has been passionate about working as a CNA for Take Care. Luz said the caliber of Take Care’s leadership and management is what led her to the path of a full-time caregiver at Take Care.

Luz said she appreciates providing one on one care to a consistent base of clients. This consistent base is possible due to Take Care’s ability to pinpoint an ideal match between clients and caregivers based on a human connection. A Registered Nurse verifies the caregiver to the client in advance of a visit to closely match on skill and personality, which no software or computer system can replace.

Coming from Columbia, Luz had little family in the local area, but through Take Care, Luz has found meaningful connections with the clients for whom she provides care. Each client teaches her something, through their rich history and life stories. Luz said that in turn allows her to shine in what she does. To Luz, there is no other job she’d rather be doing.
